The spectacular large leaf shape of the Florida Ghost is one of the most interesting of the Philodendrons. It is a climbing variety that produces big (more than 12 inches long as it matures) lobed leaves that start out as a creamy white that takes on the loveliest minty green colour before slowly deepening to dark green as it mature. The bumpy red petioles (leaf stalks) add an extra cool attraction for plant lovers. Like most climbing Philodendrons, it becomes more stunning as it grows. Without pruning, it can climb to more than 6 feet tall if given the right support like a moss pole or wall.
